General information on the legal basis of data processing

If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a DSGVO, insofar as special categories of data are processed according to Art. 9 para. 1 DSGVO. In the case of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 49 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or access to information in your terminal device, data processing is additionally carried out on the basis of § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Note on data transfer to third countries

Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other insecure third countries in terms of data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We point out that in these countries no level of data protection comparable to that of the EU can be guaranteed.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

We use the service "Cloudflare" provided by Cloudflare Inc. to protect our website against attacks, optimize loading times, and provide a secure connection (SSL).

Cloudflare uses technically necessary cookies and may route parts of the traffic through its servers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO in ensuring the security and functionality of our website.

Plausible Analytics

For statistical analysis, we use "Plausible Analytics". This tool works without cookies and does not store personal data such as IP addresses permanently. It serves exclusively for anonymized analysis of the use of our website.

YouTube (enhanced privacy mode)

On the "Media" page, we embed videos from the YouTube platform (Google Ireland Ltd.). The embedding is done in enhanced privacy mode via the domain "youtube-nocookie.com". YouTube initially sets no cookies and stores no data about visitors to this website as long as the videos are not played. Only when you start a video is information – such as your IP address – transmitted to YouTube, and cookies may be set.
