HUGS FOR FREE

HUGS FOR FREE is Michèle Fella (vocals, electronics) and Lennart Schandl (bass, electronics). They focus on the unpredictable, the intuitive, the unfiltered. They experiment with the combination of acoustic sounds and electronic effects, sometimes delicate, sometimes brutal and raw. HUGS FOR FREE is a collection of moments arising from free, spontaneous impulses - each piece a little story. With only a few shared references they went into the studio in 2024. The music was created in the moment: in the joint exploration of their own sound language and in the little surprises. Through the process of editing, cutting, and collaging these raw recordings expanded into their final form. In spring 2026, the two will present this miniature album. They play live improvisations in miniature form strung together.
